What is Capitas Distributors?

Capitas Distributors is a subsidiary of Capitas Financial. It is a distribution company that focuses on life insurance sales in Financial Institutions. Capitas Distributors manages insurance Point-of-Sale professionals (Sales Vice Presidents, or SVPs) working primarily in the institutional marketplace. These Capitas Distributors SVPs supplement the work of existing Capitas Point-of-Sale professionals (AGAs), sharing sales management, education, and technology to increase Capitas’ presence and sales results in Financial Institutions.

Whereas Capitas AGAs are employees of the Capitas Partners, Capitas Distributors SVPs are employees of Capitas Distributors. The best practices and centralized command and control for Capitas Distributors will be available to the entire Capitas organization. All new business processing and case management functions are performed by the local Partner office. Capitas Partner agencies process all production, whether generated by Capitas Financial AGAs or Capitas Distributors SVPs.

For National Accounts:
Capitas Distributors will fill Institutional Accounts’ coverage gaps in underserved markets. Institutional Accounts benefit from additional coverage, consistent support across their platform, and enhanced communication due to centralized management. By adding Capitas Distributors SVPs to its 150+ AGAs, Capitas can substantially strengthen its capabilities in delivering “sophisticated, unbiased solutions” to institutional Financial Advisors, driving more sales and more revenue to our National Accounts uniformly and consistently across the United States. In addition, the combined sales capabilities of Capitas Financial AGAs and Capitas Distributors SVPs will likely enable Capitas to expand activity and service to additional Institutional Accounts.
