Frank Spencer - National Sales Manager - Vice President
Frank W. Spencer leads the Brokerage Life sales channel for Nationwide Financial. This broad market channel comprises 45% of Nationwide’s life insurance sales. Prior to this role, Frank led the Producer Group channel for Nationwide. This channel serves the high net worth and ultra-affluent markets.
Frank is a veteran of the insurance and financial services business. Frank has also served as Vice President of Sales Support, Nationwide Financial Network (NFN), overseeing product, communications, operations, recruiting and the sales desk.
In 2009, he became the National Sales Manager of the Personal Producing General Agent (PPGA) channel and the Allied Insurance sales force. He also led the Professional Career Group (PCG) channel through its transition to PPGA in 2008 and 2009.
Prior to his work with NFN, Frank served as Vice President of Distribution for Nationwide Financial, and also worked as an Associate Vice President in the areas of eBusiness, underwriting, and product operations.
Prior to his career at Nationwide, Frank spent 13 years at Allstate Insurance leading property casualty underwriting operations in two of Allstate's regional offices.
Frank graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in English literature and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations from the American College. In 2017, Frank earned a Master’s of Science in Management from the American College. He also holds his Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63 and 65 licenses.
Colleen Horner - Senior Relationship Manager
Based in Philadelphia, Colleen serves as a senior relationship manager for Nationwide for several key accounts. Colleen has been in the industry for over thirty years and with Nationwide for the past twenty years in various roles within the Brokerage General Agency Distribution.
Colleen was formerly the Brokerage Distribution Director for Provident Mutual before they were acquired by Nationwide. She also served as Brokerage Manager of Individual Life & Disability Sales, for Brokerage Concepts, a Brokerage General Agent based in King of Prussia, PA. Prior to that, she was a regional marketing manager for Jefferson Pilot’s PPGA distribution for five years and was with Harleysville Life for seven years.
Colleen graduated from Gwynedd Mercy College with her BA in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing. She received her Certified Long Term Care designation at the end of December 2014 and also holds her FLMI, ACS and AIAA LOMA designations.
